Donald G. Robertson established the Anita Sherman Robertson Bursary Fund held at Fundy Community Foundation in loving memory of his wife of 54 years, Anita S. Robertson. She was the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Brothers) Sherman, of St. Stephen, N.B. and she attended area schools in St. Stephen and Milltown. Donald Robertson wanted to honor Anita’s loving and cheerful spirit in a meaningful way and immediately knew that a bursary fund established in her name was the best way to make a difference. This bursary will benefit deserving students from St. Stephen, Milltown and Oak Bay, N.B. who have received acceptance to an accredited post-secondary institution in health-related fields of study, preferebaly nursing. Selection is based on financial need, with preference given to candidates who have contributed to their community and school life.
