Brian Eric Magee was the son of Phoebe Anne and the late Allan G. Magee, twin of Margot and younger brother of Willa. He graduated from Queen’s University in Metallurgical Engineering and earned his Masters degree from the University of British Columbia. Just before his 25th birthday he died in a flying accident in the B.C. Mountains. Brian was an experienced sport parachutist and held a commercial helicopter pilot’s license. From his early years he had a great concern for the environment. In 1994 his mother, a founding director of Fundy Community Foundation, established its first fund in Brian’s memory. It honors his short life, lived to the fullest and with courage, always giving his best.
