The Eastern Charlotte Scholarship Committee has been managing several scholarship funds for graduates of Fundy High School for many years. Inspired by the matching incentive offered by the CANB Program, which would provide an additional $7,018 to FCF’s unrestricted community endowment fund, and encouraged by the idea of “pooling” their assets with the rest of Fundy Community Foundation’s funds, the committee decided to transfer the management of their scholarship funds to FCF. Named funds within the Eastern Charlotte Scholarship Fund are as follows: The Florence Hegan-Spinney Memorial Scholarship Fund, The Harold and Amelia Marshall Scholarship Fund, the Jean Maxwell Memorial Scholarship Fund, and the St. George School Alumni Scholarship Fund. Further named funds within the Eastern Charlotte Scholarship Fund may be established with a minimum contribution of $5,000.
