This scholarship fund, established by Leonard and Debra Ingalls, is in memory of their daughter, Ms. Kelly Ann Ingalls, a teacher at White Head, a one-room schoolhouse on Grand Manan. Ms. Ingalls is remembered for her love of teaching, her enthusiasm for drama, and zest for life. Her family, her community, and her students miss her deeply. “Miss Ingalls was an awesome teacher”, “Miss Ingalls was my favorite teacher”, “I will always have her in my heart”, “She was my friend” are some of the messages of sympathy received by her family. The people of Grand Manan are building this fund so that income from it can go to deserving students, honouring the memory of Kelly Ann Ingalls.
