This fund was inspired by an anonymous donation from a former student who appreciated the training experience at New Brunswick Community College in St. Andrews. Further gifts to this fund were made in memory of Joseph Eric Gervais, a student of the former Wooden Boat Building Program. This is an open fund, providing bursaries to NBCC students in the marine department including the aquaculture technician program. Staff and alumni are encouraged to contribute to it and help it grow.
